About me...

My name is Martin Barreby, 26 years old and I live in Gävle, Sweden.
I am a graduate in computer graphics at the University of Gävle where I have studied many things like 3D-modeling, rigging and animation in the software Autodesk Maya. My main focus in the field is animation and rigging which I feel comes very natural to me and I find very fun and interesting. I have also learnt compositing with both Autodesk Combustion but also the node based Foundry's Nuke. My focus in graphics is mostly on animating and compositing, but I also have some knowledge in rendering and modeling.

In Februari 2010 I made a short movie called "What if Final Fantasy 7 were made 10 years earlier?" that was featured on the website www.gametrailers.com and was given the titel "User movie of the Week". The clip has over 80.000 views. Click here to view the clip.

Besides 3D-animation and 3D-graphics I love to compose music. Though I lack education in the field I have a lot of experience. I have produced sound effects and music for a game called Underwater Mayhem 2. Check it out by following this Link. The game was nominated in the category "Best Game" at the Europrix Multimedia Awards in Austria. The game ended up in top three.
I play multiple intruments and I started composing elecronic music at a young age in a software called Octamed on the Amiga 500. Since then I have tried many different softwares but today I am working almost exclusively in Propellerhead's Reason 4.

My first longer short movie that I have been working on for about an half a year (Nov 2009 - May 2010).
I made this movie to learn but also for the fun of it. I hope you will enjoy it.
